Jennifer, a member of the Tuscarora Nation and Beaver Clan, was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. Growing up, Jennifer spent time with her family on Grand Island, the Tuscarora Nation, and the Six Nation reserve in Ontario. While working full time in Security, Jennifer maintains a deep love and passion for her artwork.
Jennifer is a self-taught painter who was introduced to the art industry at a young age through her family of artists and craft vendors. She traveled across the US and Canada to various shows and art markets with her Mother and Grandparents, gaining a profound appreciation for art and entrepreneurship. Jennifer explored various mediums, from bone carving to pottery making to beadworking. In 2015 she discovered a stippling technique that transformed paint into a beadwork-like design, which she fell in love with.
In addition to her acrylic and watercolor paintings, Jennifer has embarked on a new endeavor of customizing footwear that showcases her heritage. Through her customized footwear designs, Jennifer brings a unique and vibrant expression of her ancestry to a new canvas, blending traditional artistry with contemporary style.
Inspired by her late Grandfather, world-renowned Bone and Antler Carver Stanley Hill, as well as artists like Christi Belcourt, Jennifer's art is a reflection of her ancestry, passions, and life experiences. Her artwork and customized footwear beautifully capture the essence of her heritage and showcase her unique artistic vision.
Jennifer Dalimonte's journey as an artist is a testament to her creativity, dedication, and cultural pride. Through her vibrant and intricate paintings, she continues to honor her roots and hopefully inspire others with her art.
